Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr, MBE, is an Irish musician and singer. Corr together the likes of Caroline Sharon and Jim, made their debut in the role of The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She is a singer, songwriter actress, musician, and performer. She was awarded an award called the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is well known as part of the Celtic pop and rock group The Corrs. A multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of the Corrs, she is also the group's leader. Andrea began her professional career as an actress in 1991. Later, she became a musician and stage artist. She performed as the voice of The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film which was released in 1998. With six studio albums two compilation albums and two live albums, and a remix album to her credit Andrea has truly established herself as a multifaceted artist. Her efforts to help others have received recognition. Andrea and her boyfriend Stockbroker has two children. Andrea started music lessons at the age of eight, learning the Tin flute. Gerry taught Andrea to play the piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. Andrea honed her skills in music throughout her teens. The teenage years she spent working on her musical abilities. Andrea was often a part of the school's productions. She attended Dun Lughaidh Convent.
